There was a time when muscle cars ruled the road.

Power was ample.  Control was marginal.  Electronics were nonexistent.

Unfortunately, all modern exotic cars are driven primarily by computer.  Acceleration, steering, and even braking are completely controlled by the car -- not the driver.  The computer overrides and "corrects" every motion that the driver makes.  This leads to loss of feeling for the driver -- a disconnect between the driver and the road.

At evNEXT, we believe that the driver, not the computer, should be in control of the car.  He reserves the right to push his car to its limits -- and beyond.  In the E1 Supercar, the driver is completely in control of his vehicle.  The onboard computer is the passenger, not the driver.
